Restorative

Restorative dentistry is all about bringing your smile back to life. Whether you're dealing with cavities, missing teeth, or damaged enamel, restorative treatments like fillings, crowns, bridges, and dentures can restore both the function and beauty of your teeth. With modern techniques and materials, restorative dentistry not only fixes dental issues but also ensures your smile looks natural and feels great. It's the perfect solution to keep your teeth healthy and your smile confident for years to come!

Bridges

Dental bridges are an effective solution for replacing missing teeth. They use your existing teeth as anchors to create a "bridge" that fills the gap. Bridges are made from durable materials like gold, metal, alloys, or porcelain to ensure strength and longevity.

The process starts by shaping your existing teeth to serve as abutments. We then take a mold of the area and send it to a lab to create a custom bridge, which consists of two crowns on either side and a pontic (replacement tooth) in the middle. While waiting for your permanent bridge, you'll wear a temporary one for protection.

Once the permanent bridge is ready, it’s securely bonded to the abutments. After a short adjustment period, your new bridge should feel natural, and you'll be able to eat and speak with ease. Replacing a missing tooth not only restores your smile but also prevents further dental issues. Schedule an appointment today to get your smile back on track!

Crowns

Over time, teeth can weaken, leading to decay, cracks, and discoloration. If your smile needs a boost, a crown can restore its strength and appearance. Crowns are ideal when fillings or bonding aren't enough to fix a damaged tooth.

Made from porcelain, porcelain fused to metal, or gold, crowns are custom-designed to match your natural teeth, with porcelain offering the most seamless look.

The process takes 2-3 visits. First, your dentist reshapes the tooth, takes a mold, and fits you with a temporary crown. In 2-3 weeks, your custom crown is ready, and the permanent one is placed with a local anesthetic for comfort. Crowns typically last 10-15 years with proper care.

Dentures

Dentures are removable replacements for missing teeth, available as full or partial options. Full dentures replace all missing teeth:

  • Conventional Dentures: After teeth are removed, your gums heal for a few months before dentures are placed.

  • Immediate Dentures: Dentures are fitted before teeth are removed, so you don’t go without teeth, though adjustments may be needed as your mouth heals.

Partial dentures replace a few missing teeth and are removable, like a bridge.

It may take time to get used to dentures, as they can feel bulky or loose at first, affecting eating and speaking. With time, they’ll feel more natural.

Caring for dentures is important—brush them daily, store them in room-temperature water or denture solution, and never use hot water. Handle them carefully and consult your dentist if they feel loose or uncomfortable.

Dentures offer a great solution for restoring your smile and functionality!

Bonding and White Fillings

Dental bonding is a popular and effective way to improve the appearance of your smile. It can fix cracks, gaps, stains, or discolored teeth, and can also replace silver amalgam fillings.

The process involves applying a composite resin to the affected area, which is molded and sculpted over an adhesive gel. An LED light hardens the resin, which is then polished to create a smooth, natural-looking finish.

Bonding is a great alternative to traditional fillings, offering a durable and attractive solution that typically lasts over 10 years. It’s a safe, affordable way to restore the beauty and function of your teeth.
